SwitchScene™ Superstrength Magnetic Paint

£38.40

With the strongest magnetic paint on the market, you get exactly what it says on the can.

SwitchScene magnetic paint is a ferrous-based wall paint, and it attracts all types of magnets including fexible fridge magnets, hard magnets and neodymuim magnets. Using neodymuim magnets provides the best adhesion; use N52 neodymuim magnets for holding many sheets of paper to walls.

  • Apply two coats of the paint with brush or roller
  • Over-paint with the colour of your choice

The magnetic paint is super strong and easily administered with a soft paint roller, and unlike the paint from most of our competitors the application is similar to ordinary emulsion, as it does not trickle. It is also a mid-grey colour rather than charcoal grey, so if required it can be easily over-painted with whichever colour you choose.

The magnetic paint is waterbased and non-flamable.

Description

With the strongest magnetic paint on the market, you get exactly what is says on the can. SwitchScene magnetic paint is a ferrous-based wall paint; it attracts all types of magnets including fexible fridge magnets, hard magnets and neodymuim magnets. Using neodymuim magnets provides the best adhesion, and N52 neodymuim magnets are ideal for holding many sheets of paper to walls.

  • Apply two coats of the paint with brush or roller
  • Paint the colour of your choice over the SwitchScene paint

The magnetic paint is super strong and easily administered with a soft paint roller, and unlike the paint from most of our competitors the application is similar to ordinary emulsion, as it does not trickle. It is also a mid-grey colour rather than charcoal grey, so if required it can be easily over-painted with whichever colour you choose.

The magnetic paint is also water based and non-flammable.

Applications

Any wall that can be painted can be magnetised. There are many applications for this paint, including:

  • Art and commercial galleries; pictures can be placed on walls using self-adhesive magnetic tape on the back of the frames
  • Children’s nurseries
  • Hospitals
  • Schools
  • Anywhere where interactive walls are required, when it can also be used in combination of our Switchscene Wipewall dry erase paint

Types of magnets

Good quality, flexible, hard fridge type magnets, and button magnets can be easily used. Neodymuim magnets will give the greatest pulling power, and for best results, use N52 neodymuim magnets – we supply these magnets and are always expanding our range.

Technical Information

As with any magnetic paint it is not possible to get the same pulling magnetic affect as a metal sheet wall, but we believe that two applications of our paint will give the best pulling power of any paint on the market. When comparing our products to those of our competitors, we found that we had to apply at least three coats and even more for some cheap brands to get the same pulling power.

Wall must be sealed with primer or already painted. The magnetic paint dries a medium grey colour and can be painted over with any desired colour, although it may take up to thee coats to finish.
